Lyle Johnson is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Senior Financial Advisor of Liberty Group. Mr. Johnson specializes in wealth management and retirement planning for private clients and is currently the portfolio manager for a private fund. Specialty areas of expertise include Investment Analysis and Management, Real Estate 1031 analysis and execution, Long Term Care options, Life Insurance, Annuities, Retirement Protection as well as financial and estate planning. Mr. Johnson has experience as a money manager since 1997 for private clients, various trusts and a private fund as well as ten years experience as a financial analyst. Since graduating with an MBA he has worked as a financial analyst both in industry and in investment banking before becoming a portfolio manager. Mr. Johnson is dedicated to his clients and focuses on providing a high level of service at a reasonable price.
Mr. Johnson graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara, with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering and then from the University of Southern California with a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree focused on Finance. Over the period from 1997 - 2000 Mr. Johnson obtained his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation for financial analysis, client suitability and portfolio management (www.cfainstitute.org). As one of only 57,000 CFA charterholders from 110 countries, Mr. Johnson holds the only globally recognized credential for investment analysis and advice and has passed three levels of rigorous examinations over a three year period on ethical and professional standards, financial statement analysis, portfolio management, analysis of equity investments, debt investments, alternative investments (Real Estate deals) and derivatives, economics, quantitative methods, and performance measurement. Through the CFA Institute, Mr. Johnson has signed a commitment to uphold a stringent Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct.
Mr. Johnson is an active member of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute and the San Francisco Chapter of CFA Institute, www.sasf.org. He is an officer of the National Association of Elder Advisors (NAEA), www.naeausa.com. NAEA is a non-profit trade association created to educated professionals who advise retirees about estate planning.
