Mr. Powell graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara, with a Bachelors Degree in Economics. After graduating from UCSB, he moved to Las Vegas and opened a regional office for a California based mortgage lender specializing in FHA insured reverse mortgages. After several years of helping seniors secure reverse mortgages, Michael decided to obtain his insurance and securities licenses and began working as an investment adviser in 2006.
